Beaver Log Homes offers a selection of standard plans and kits to match practically any site. Of course, we can also recommend Beaver-approved contractors in your area to do the heavy lifting (and fine finish work).
Included in each kit are the quality, kiln - dried logs that use our inter-locking system to ensure a steadfast and durable structure. Our log kits can be stand alone or bind to the structure of your construction project.

Kiln-dried Logs
Michigan Grown & Treated Timber
Every log built into your new home was harvested responsibly from the Beaver family forest. We’ve raised the highest quality pine for three generations – right here in northern Michigan.
Beaver Log Homes provides kiln-dried logs that have increased stability and are less susceptible to shrinkage. Before kiln-drying, logs are debarked for faster drying.
The logs are then machined with double tongues and grooves to help the logs self-align and interlock during assembly. This ensures that your walls are tightly sealed and stable, ultimately, increasing the durability and long-term value of your home.
You can choose from a wide range of log sizes based on your preference. We can also offer logs harvested from other species of trees as required.
Log Profiles
All the classic profiles, milled to perfection
Beaver Log homes use locally sourced pine for all of our logs, which come in 8, 10, 12 and 14-inch diameters and lengths up to 12 1/2-feet. Other sizes and species are available based upon availability.
We also offer a D-log along with 1/2 logs and Veneer siding options. You can even select a half log with or without full round corners to fit a new or existing structure. Factory direct pricing is also available for budget driven projects.

Our locally sourced material provides unique characteristics that flow through the grain of every slat. We provide interior kits made out of Michigan cedar or pine in a flat profile or round log profile to match the outside of your home.
